Congratulations to Phyllis Berger, our 2008 Travel Scholarship Award Winner!
Ms. Berger is currently a Master's student at the University of Arizona in the Soil, Water and Environmental Science Department.
She presented two posters entitled "Physical and Hydrological Characterization of Mine Tailings – A First Step for Revegetation with Native Plant Communities" and "Particle Size Analysis with Laser Diffractometry – Comparison to Standard Methods" at the 2008 Joint Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas.
