Membership in the Association of Women
Soil Scientists (AWSS) is open to both women and men who
are interested and support the goals of AWSS.
Membership is on a calendar year basis
and includes three newsletters (delivered via e-mail unless
otherwise requested) and access to the online directory
of members.
New members may join at any time during
the year and will receive all three issues of the newsletter.
Renewals are due the first business day of January each
year.

to Join AWSS
Fill out the membership
form and send it with your dues ($15 professional,
$10 student) to become a member. If you would like to
have your complete information listed in the AWSS Member
Directory (useful for networking), also fill out a directory
form.

You Can Participate in AWSS
AWSS is a membership-based organization and relies
heavily upon volunteers to accomplish its goals. Whether
you have a lot of time or just a little, we would welcome
your participation.
Are you enthusiastic about AWSS? Have you had an idea
for AWSS that you've been holding onto? Share it with
us. Have you been thinking about writing an article for
the newsletter? Why not do it now? Please e-mail us, we
would love to hear from you.
Volunteering for AWSS can be rewarding
and fun, and you will get to know some of your fellow
AWSS members. Participate in AWSS by contributing your
ideas and suggestions or by volunteering for one of the
activities below.
